MINISTRIES OF THE CHURCH:

Building and Grounds:  Responsible for all physical components of the church building and grounds; (e.g., insurance, service contracts, maintenance, and use policies)

Christian Education:  Responsible for planning and implementing education programs for the entire church family

Commitment:  Responsible for helping each individual member support our ministries with gifts of time, talent, and treasure

Community Service:  Responsible for assessing the needs and interests of the congregation and of the local community, the wider church, and the world for SCCC mission, and for coordinating volunteer projects

Fellowship:  Reponsible for facilitating the social life of our church family and friends

Finance:  Responsible for disbursing and managing funds required for our ministries 

Good News:  Responsible for helping us tell our story and inviting others to join us

Music Ministry: This group works with the Director of Music in planning and coordinating music as it relates to worship, education and other ministries of the church.

Pastor, Parish, Personnel:  Responsible for advising the Council on all personnel matters for Pastor and staff

Shepherding:  Responsible for assisting Pastor with needs and cares of the members

Worship:  Responsible for working with Pastor and other worship leaders to assure high quality worship experiences on Sunday and special occasions

Council: The church council is the governing body of the church. It is made up of church officers and represenitives of each ministry.
